Their Mission/Purpose:
The Lewis County Amateur Hockey Association partners with the town and village of Lowville and the Lewis County Ag Society to operate the ice skating rink at the Lewis County Fairgrounds. While the official organization has hockey in the name (and there are opportunities to contribute to youth hockey programs), the organization has a much broader focus of providing skating opportunities for everyone in the community through organized programs and free public skating. We are looking for any community members who are interested in the community skating rink and skating programs! We would like some NEW ideas and some help carrying out all the new and "old" plans for the coming season and the future of the rink!! We see the opportunities for the skating rink to continue to GROW a community resource and are looking for ways that we can make this happen! Potential Focus areas: General members Strategic Planning & Rink Improvements Skating Programs Community Engagement

Community members with interest in supporting wintertime recreational activities through the Ice Rink.
